Silvinho Corrêa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lauro Reis having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Silvinho Corrêa notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Centenário Futebol Clube's Lauro Reis. Lauro Reis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonathan Rodrigues's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kiko Trevisan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Cucui got a freekick which was hit by Betão Nascimento. Cucui's Kiko Trevisan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Cucui from getting a goal against them. Jonathan Rodrigues's late challenge caught a Cucui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Rodrigues helped the player get up and apologised. Jonathan Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. 44 minutes into the game, Centenário Futebol Clube's Oswaldo de Barros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kiko Trevisan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Centenário Futebol Clube's zone, Raúl Schmidt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lauro Reis came out of the goal and Raúl Schmidt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th minute, Fausto Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raúl Schmidts short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Lauro Reis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Silvinho Corrêa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauro Reis was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Cucui's zone, Oswaldo de Barros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiko Trevisan came out of the goal and Oswaldo de Barros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. During the 79th minute of the match Lino Baiano completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Lino Baiano a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Lino Baiano hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Raúl Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Lauro Reis made a huge save. Raúl Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Lauro Reis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 93 minutes, Raúl Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cucui's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raúl Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Centenário Futebol Clube's Jonathan Rodrigues got a free kick in the 95th minute. Cucui's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
