After having played for 21 minutes, Cipriano Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barriero's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cipriano Mattos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barriero's attack was well implemented in the 26th minute, but when Cipriano Mattos was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. When Cipriano Mattos came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Barriero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Mattos couldn't finish the play. Edgar Tepedino was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Cipriano Mattos showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 31 minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Torres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dieguinho Mazza, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 37th match minute, Barriero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emílio Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Gaspar, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Emílio Meirelles hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Aílton da Silveira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Edgar Tepedino made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelinho Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barriero's Luiz Eduardo Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelinho Moura in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Cipriano Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barriero's supporters rose to their feet, but Cipriano Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgar Tepedino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Edgar Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cipriano Mattos in the 63rd minute of the match. After 67 played minutes ACNOLOGIA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Proença. ACNOLOGIA F.C's Edgar Tepedino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aílton da Silveira in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of ACNOLOGIA F.C booed when Barriero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 74 played minutes ACNOLOGIA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Proença. In the 77th match minute, ACNOLOGIA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermínio Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. If Aílton da Silveira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aílton da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgar Tepedino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aílton da Silveira in the 84th minute of the match. Aílton da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Tepedino having to interfere. Marcelinho Moura struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Luiz Eduardo Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACNOLOGIA F.C. When the referee ended the match the Barriero players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
