The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Douglas Sampaio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodriguinho Valle's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 26th minute of the game. One of Finlandia AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ahu Futebol Clube:s goal. In the 29th minute there was a penalty for Ahu Futebol Clube. Osvaldinho Freitas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nuno Duarte in the 61st minute of play. Douglas Sampaio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luís Fernando da Costa in the 62nd minute of play. If Yan Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. Rodriguinho Valle scored 1-2 in the 100th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Douglas Sampaio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Finlandia AD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ahu Futebol Clube's performance. The match ended with a win for Ahu Futebol Clube.
