Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Josué Aparecido kicked off to start the match. Josué Aparecido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Gonçalves having to interfere. Triumfo's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arthur Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 35 played minutes, Igarapé's Wilton Nascimento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luiz Marques came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Igarapé reached it. If Sérgio Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. Luiz Marques made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Válter de Andrade made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Igarapé's André Luís Tróia got a free kick in the 56th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Igarapé's zone, Sérgio Simões stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Gonçalves came out of the goal and Sérgio Simões tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Josué Aparecido in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Gonçalves saved Igarapé from getting behind. In the 70thth minute of the game Válter de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Triumfo's Luiz Marques was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Josué Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Arthur Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igarapé's Arthur Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Simões in the 80th minute of play. Roberto da Mata in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luiz Marques, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
