Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Luizão Seco made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cares AD's goalkeeper Gildo Pitta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Umarituba EC's Orlando Cardozo in the 5th minute got a chance for a shot 5th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cares AD's goalie prevented a goal. 7 minutes into the game, Umberto Monteiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cares AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Umarituba EC the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 6th minute of the game. One of Cares AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Umarituba EC:s goal. Wesley Linhares walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Jonathan Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Hílton Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Umarituba EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hílton Paiva couldn't finish the play. Gildo Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Cardozo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hílton Paiva struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Gildo Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umarituba EC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Cardozo in the 15th minute of play forced Cares AD's goalkeeper Gildo Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Hílton Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot by Francisco Domingues from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Gildo Pitta's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, Cares AD's Gildo Pitta got control of the ball when Mathias Martins tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duarte Vaz in the 24th minute of play forced Cares AD's goalkeeper Gildo Pitta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Cares AD getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Jonathan Berger hit a great ball. Hílton Paiva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Gildo Pitta made a huge save. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cares AD's goalkeeper Gildo Pitta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Orlando Cardozo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gildo Pitta. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 36th minute, Hílton Paiva made a precise shot to the right of Gildo Pitta. Cares AD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. A collision led to Cares AD getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Sabino Passos hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Orlando Cardozo made the kick off in the second half. When Umarituba EC's Orlando Cardozo in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Luizão Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. José Pedro Furtado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Hílton Paiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Umarituba EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hílton Paiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gildo Pitta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. José Pedro Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74thth minute of the game Hílton Paiva who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cares AD's Gildo Pitta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Renato Bertassi hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. José Pedro Furtado made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Tony Motta sent off a good shot on target. In the 88th minute, Elói Leal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orlando Cardozo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gildo Pitta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Gildo Pitta came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Umarituba EC's Mathias Martins. But to his dismay, Mathias Martins quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Umarituba EC had played much better football throughout.
