Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Betinho Montenegro took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Denílson Leal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Apurima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denílson Leal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Leal in the 13th minute of play forced Barcelona F.C's goalkeeper Alfredinho Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Murilo Simões fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcelona F.C's protests and gave Murilo Simões a yellow card for diving instead. Alfredinho Teixeira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júnior Guedes went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marcinho Rodrigues during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Betinho Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Isaltino Figueiredo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulinho Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Barcelona F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Denílson Leal came free, but Alfredinho Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho Teixeira didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 29th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. A collision led to Barcelona F.C getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Murilo Simões hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Barcelona F.C's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Júnior Guedes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alfredinho Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Leal, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Isaltino Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denílson Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Denílson Leal struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Alfredinho Teixeira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Apurima. In the 53rd minute Júnior Guedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Teixeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denílson Leal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Júnior Guedes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredinho Teixeira having to interfere. Cipriano Travassos hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Alfredinho Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Júnior Guedes in the 61st minute of the match. Júnior Guedes scored 3-0 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredinho Teixeira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Denílson Leal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Trevisan lost his temper 72 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Barcelona F.C's Alfredinho Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Júnior Guedes in the 80th minute of play. Murilo Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. When Júnior Guedes came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Apurima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Júnior Guedes couldn't finish the play. Denílson Leal succeeded in the game's 89th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. When Denílson Leal came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Apurima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denílson Leal couldn't finish the play. If Paulinho Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arlindo Hoffmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isaltino Figueiredo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Apurima players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
