Henrique Pires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gonçalo Sá in the 10th minute of the match. Filipe de Souza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Alberto Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Umberto Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Unidos do Chora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Umberto Aguiar couldn't finish the play. Dadá de Andrade hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, one of Unidos do Chora:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Unidos do Chora. After 30 played minutes Lemos SC got a freekick which was hit by Gonçalo Sá. After a rather tough play, Lemos SC's Thomás de Azevedo got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a rather tough play, Unidos do Chora's Giovani Castro got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Jerônimo Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lemos SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerônimo Freire was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Unidos do Chora's Henrique Pires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Freire in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerônimo Freire in the 40th minute of play forced Unidos do Chora's goalkeeper Henrique Pires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st match minute, Unidos do Chora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Castro to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 42 minutes, Gonçalo Sá managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lemos SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonçalo Sá was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alberto Senna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Umberto Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 48th minute Filipe de Souza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alberto Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jerônimo Freire made a kick off. Gonçalo Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Pires having to interfere. Gonçalo Sá sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jerônimo Freire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Henrique Pires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonçalo Sá in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henrique Pires saved Unidos do Chora from getting behind. After 68 minutes of play, Unidos do Chora's Filipe de Souza made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alberto Senna was left in no man's land by his defense there! Filipe de Souza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Umberto Aguiar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alberto Senna was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Unidos do Chora's goal looked a bit too open when Jerônimo Freire came free, but Henrique Pires reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lemos SC's Gonçalo Sá got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Lemos SC's Gonçalo Sá in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Gonçalo Sá fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrique Pires having to interfere. Jerônimo Freire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Henrique Pires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Passos in the 93rd minute of play. After 97 minutes of play, Lemos SC's Gonçalo Sá made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henrique Pires was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lemos SC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
