Cafu da Mata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonel Ortiz having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The referee showed Leonardo Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonardo Pombal kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. William Vander scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonel Ortiz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
