The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Silvério Batista was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Cambaras SS's Bernardo Gonçalves seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bernardo Gonçalves the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Cambaras SS protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bernardo Gonçalves had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Elói Tepedino struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Murillo Prata didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cambaras SS. Cambaras SS's Dawid Ciborek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Paulo Pombal in the 92nd minute of play. Elói Tepedino who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Murillo Prata when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Paulo Pombal in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dawid Ciborek saved Cambaras SS from getting behind.
