Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eduardo Botelho started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 9 played minutes, Arvoredo's Cícero Peixoto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Hamílton Teles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arvoredo reached it. The supporters of Quata SC booed when Arvoredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nildo Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Arvoredo's zone, Gabriel Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oséas Barros came out of the goal and Gabriel Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Arvoredo getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Bruninho Abreu hit a great ball. Eduardo Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hamílton Teles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eurico Mumbach in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oséas Barros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Ramalho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arvoredo's Oséas Barros proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Arvoredo from getting a goal against them. 33 minutes into the match, Quata SC's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Gaspar came free, but Hamílton Teles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Botelho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hamílton Teles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eduardo Botelho in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hamílton Teles prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 43rd minute, Eurico Mumbach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruninho Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Gabriel Ramalho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 47thth minute, Oséas Barros skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal.

The wind increased when Eurico Mumbach made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Arvoredo's Nildo Cabral got a free kick in the 55th minute. Eduardo Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Teles having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Quata SC's goalkeeper Hamílton Teles had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moisés Gaspar. Quata SC's Hamílton Teles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Quata SC from getting a goal against them. In the 68thth minute of the game Eduardo Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Quata SC's Hamílton Teles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Moisés Gaspar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hamílton Teles having to interfere. Oséas Barros came out of the goal and Gabriel Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eurico Mumbach struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Oséas Barros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Quata SC. The audience was convinced that Eduardo Botelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hamílton Teles was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Oséas Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eurico Mumbach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Hamílton Teles managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Arvoredo's Moisés Gaspar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
