Silas Branco struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Durvalino Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dorandia. Durvalino Pirani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ismael Branco went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 8 played minutes Dorandia got a freekick which was hit by Dênis Ferraz. 9 minutes into the game, Dênis Ferraz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dorandia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curimata SS the free kick. In the 9th minute, Dênis Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Durvalino Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Branco in the 11th minute of the match. 18 minutes into the match, Dênis Ferraz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Durvalino Pirani. Curimata SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dênis Ferraz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Curimata SS's Durvalino Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Branco in the 26th minute of play. Durvalino Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silas Branco in the 27th minute of the match. Curimata SS's Anderson Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Curimata SS's Cleiton Proença threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nando Santos, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Curimata SS's zone, Silas Branco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Durvalino Pirani came out of the goal and Silas Branco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute Silas Branco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Durvalino Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Dorandia were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Válbson Teles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Válbson Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durvalino Pirani having to interfere. Cléberson da Mata kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. If Silas Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 75 minutes of play Dorandia's Dênis Ferraz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 75th minute, Dênis Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Nando Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas Branco in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Durvalino Pirani, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Silas Branco came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Dorandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silas Branco couldn't finish the play. Cleiton Proença made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando Santos in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Dorandia left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Curimata SS.
