After having played for 64 minutes, Denílson do Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Flamengo Itumbiarense's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denílson do Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It was a well-played corner which Kléber Severo managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Válbson Perez got in the 78th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Vito Faria handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar.
