Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Almir Messias started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Serrania's Oswaldo Pinheiro got a free kick in the 2nd minute. 4 minutes into the match, BRAVOS's goal looked a bit too open when Almir Messias came free, but Enéas Netto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enéas Netto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Almir Messias, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Genílson Gomes could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Olívio Antunes however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Messias in the 15th minute of play forced BRAVOS's goalkeeper Enéas Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Serrania's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Genílson Gomes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After a rather tough play, BRAVOS's Didi Trancoso got a free kick in the 22nd minute. If Elias Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Serrania booed when BRAVOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yan Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eurico Prado struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Olívio Antunes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BRAVOS. Genílson Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genílson Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Antunes having to interfere. After 36 minutes of play, BRAVOS's Vágner Terra made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olívio Antunes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genílson Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serrania's Olívio Antunes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Serrania from getting a goal against them. If Almir Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Almir Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vágner Terra was the one to do the kick off. Enéas Netto was a little too slow when Oswaldo Pinheiro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-1. Enéas Netto made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Oswaldo Pinheiro sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute Afonsinho Araújo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Netto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, BRAVOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Chaves to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Almir Messias in the 58th minute of play forced BRAVOS's goalkeeper Enéas Netto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olívio Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genílson Gomes in the 60th minute of play. Juan Chaves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olívio Antunes having to interfere. After having played for 63 minutes, Juan Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BRAVOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Olívio Antunes came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by BRAVOS's Eurico Prado. But to his dismay, Eurico Prado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. BRAVOS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Afonsinho Araújo scored to the left of an out of position Enéas Netto, making the score, 2-2. Almir Messias charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Almir Messias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Almir Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. If Vágner Terra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonsinho Araújo charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Afonsinho Araújo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. BRAVOS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Afonsinho Araújo scored to the left of an out of position Enéas Netto, making the score, 4-3. 88 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Araújo notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of BRAVOS's Enéas Netto. Enéas Netto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
