Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Alexandre Simão made the kick off and thus started the match. Zamba SC's Augusto Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Zamba SC from getting a goal against them. Cacá Recife sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Augusto Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandre Simão in the 10th minute of play. Alexandre Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Augusto Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agostinho Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Barreto having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Alexandre Simão lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Augusto Mendonça. Joel Barreto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donatello Dracena in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 34th play minute Alexandre Simão came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Augusto Mendonça. 2-0. Alexandre Simão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th match minute, Zamba SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute Agostinho Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Barreto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Barreto came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Zamba SC's Agostinho Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Agostinho Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1.

The wind increased when Agostinho Rodrigues made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Alexandre Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Campo Bom FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandre Simão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alexandre Simão in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Augusto Mendonça saved Zamba SC from getting behind. Donatello Dracena kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Augusto Mendonça stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexandre Simão's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. In the 72nd minute Alexandre Simão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd match minute, Zamba SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonso Velloso to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th match minute, Campo Bom FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaltino Antunes to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Donatello Dracena notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Campo Bom FC's Joel Barreto. Joel Barreto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Donatello Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Zamba SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donatello Dracena couldn't finish the play. Joel Barreto was out of position in the 96 minute of play, and Agostinho Rodrigues capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Agostinho Rodrigues really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. The Campo Bom FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Zamba SC to win.
