Cléber Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serginho Cabral, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The audience was convinced that Miguel Botelho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Humberto Ferraz was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Dé Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Humberto Ferraz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. Dé Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Ferraz having to interfere. Igor Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miguel Botelho in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Humberto Ferraz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Itaquari FC's zone, Igor Simão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Ferraz came out of the goal and Igor Simão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Miguel Botelho made the kick off in the second half. Cléber Queirós made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabiano Aparecido in the 52nd minute. Igor Simão hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Igor Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hugo de Alcântara's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Cléber Queirós skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Igor Simão during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 67th minute, Igor Simão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 71stth minute of the game Miguel Botelho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itaquari FC's Humberto Ferraz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Igor Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Humberto Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Miguel Botelho put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Humberto Ferraz. Humberto Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Botelho in the 78th minute of play. After 82 minutes of play, Troladores FC's Miguel Botelho made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Humberto Ferraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Itaquari FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Júlio Fantini hit a great ball. Humberto Ferraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miguel Botelho in the 90th minute of play. Troladores FC's Igor Simão got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
