Antônio Carlos Queirós stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Orlando Velasco's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. If Abelardo Tróia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antônio Carlos Queirós had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Breno Toledo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Sampas Futebol Clube's Abelardo Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Tróia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antônio Carlos Queirós having to interfere. Niggas Fut Club's Antônio Carlos Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Velasco in the 20th minute of play. Silvinho Moura's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adriano Camargo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Abelardo Tróia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sampas Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Abelardo Tróia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Antônio Carlos Queirós breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Orlando Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Sampas Futebol Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Velasco couldn't finish the play. Orlando Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antônio Carlos Queirós. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Orlando Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th match minute, Sampas Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar Maciel to maneuver through the defense. Kauã Ceresso kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Niggas Fut Club were awarded a corner in the 50th minute after Sampas Futebol Clube's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. José Augusto das Neves took the corner. The corner ended in José Augusto das Neves almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sampas Futebol Clube's Adriano Camargo did a great save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silvinho Moura to make the kick off. In the 57th minute Silvinho Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Camargo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Niggas Fut Club. In the 85th minute Silvinho Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Camargo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adriano Camargo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvinho Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vítor de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Camargo having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
