William Martins's late challenge caught a Eliziario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. William Martins helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of Ubai FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Eliziario:s goal. When the match had been going on for 13 minutes, Eliziario's Luiz Paulo Nogueira got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alessandro Toscano. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Pedro Mello got free with Alessandro Toscano in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edinho Alves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Toscano having to interfere. Ubai FC's Alessandro Toscano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Ubai FC from getting a goal against them. Eugênio Velasco hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Alessandro Toscano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edinho Alves in the 43rd minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Alessandro Toscano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Pedro Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Rocha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Carvalho in the 69th minute of play. Reginaldo Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Rocha having to interfere. William Martins got his second yellow card in the match during the 76th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 76 played minutes Ubai FC got a freekick which was hit by William Martins. In the 78th minute, Edinho Alves made a precise shot to the right of Alessandro Toscano. Ubai FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Alessandro Toscano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edinho Alves in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Ubai FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edinho Alves came free, but Alessandro Toscano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
