Manuel do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 75th minute, Mateus Mineiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 80 minutes of play, Marcolandia's Donato Montenegro made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Vítor de Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Magno Gaúcho charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Magno Gaúcho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Caraguatei got a freekick which was hit by Magno Gaúcho. After having played for 91 minutes, Donato Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marcolandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Donato Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Caraguatei's José Vítor de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Montenegro in the 93rd minute of play. 98 minutes into the match, Caraguatei's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Montenegro came free, but José Vítor de Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
