Spectators: 7251 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Augusto Medeiros kicked off to start the match. Adalberto Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Vale having to interfere. Benjamin Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adalberto Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nildo de Azevedo in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benjamin Vale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 8 played minutes C.A Bacacheri got a freekick which was hit by Simão Pontes. 9 minutes into the match, Nildo de Azevedo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of C.A Bacacheri's Benjamin Vale. Benjamin Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 17 minutes, Adalberto Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gigante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 18 minutes into the match, Gigante's goalkeeper Adalberto Pirani had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ismael Moura. In the 21st minute, Mateus Rosa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gigante fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 24th minute, João Augusto Medeiros reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adalberto Pirani. The goal made the score 1-3. If Adalberto Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aloísio Trevisan shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When Ismael Moura came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the C.A Bacacheri fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ismael Moura couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Darden kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Moura got free with Adalberto Pirani in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute João Augusto Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adalberto Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 叶烽荣 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adalberto Tinoco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benjamin Vale read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Benjamin Vale showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Tinoco in the 52nd minute of the match. Adalberto Tinoco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes into the game, C.A Bacacheri's João Augusto Medeiros nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adalberto Pirani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. After a rather tough play, C.A Bacacheri's Tostão Duarte got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Adalberto Tinoco fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Benjamin Vale, passed just outside the right post. Joaquin Darden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Vale having to make a save. Gigante's Joaquin Darden got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Joaquin Darden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Vale having to interfere. Nildo de Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Vale having to make a save. After having played for 73 minutes, Adalberto Tinoco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gigante's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Tostão Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Furlan in the 82nd minute of play forced Gigante's goalkeeper Adalberto Pirani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Gigante's Adalberto Tinoco slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benjamin Vale. That made the score 2-4 after 83 minutes of play. Adalberto Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Vale having to interfere. If Nildo de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adalberto Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Benjamin Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigante played a much better game than C.A Bacacheri and deserved their victory. The C.A Bacacheri players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
