Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frédson Almeida started the match with the kick off. Edmundo Batista hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. 5 minutes into the game, Arthur Paraense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batovi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argola the free kick. Arthur Paraense kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Lucas Mandrak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Nascimento having to interfere. The attack was good, but when Frédson Almeida in the 15th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enrique de Amorim in the 16th minute of play forced Argola's goalkeeper Luís Fernando Fontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Arthur Paraense was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 18 minutes had been played. The long shot by Edmundo Batista in the 19th minute really tested Chiquinho Nascimento's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Batovi's Lino Novaes got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Carlos de Lara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Chiquinho Nascimento was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. Chiquinho Nascimento didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Argola's Carlos de Lara shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. If Carlos de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enrique de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Argola's Luís Fernando Fontes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique de Amorim in the 43rd minute of play. Lucas Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Carlos de Lara to strike the kick off in the second half. Carlos de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 55 minutes, Lucas Mandrak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argola's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Mandrak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chiquinho Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos de Lara in the 61st minute of play. Lucas Mandrak might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chiquinho Nascimento. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucas Mandrak ran back to his position shaking his head. Enrique de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fernando Fontes having to interfere. Carlos de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Nascimento having to interfere. Chiquinho Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos de Lara in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Carlos de Lara cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Chiquinho Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Carlos de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Nascimento having to interfere. The supporters of Argola booed when Batovi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frédson Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Argola's Carlos de Lara in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Batovi's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 83 in the game by Enrique de Amorim from a close distance when the talented Luís Fernando Fontes managed to make a qualified save. Argola's players were relieved. If Carlos de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Batovi's Chiquinho Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Mandrak in the 87th minute of play. Chiquinho Nascimento made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos de Lara in the 88th minute of play.
