In the 12thth minute of the game Luís Paraense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zeotavios FC's Cauã Nóbrega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Luís Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gurijuba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luís Paraense was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th match minute, Zeotavios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiaguinho Pereira to maneuver through the defense. Cauã Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio de Senna in the 18th minute of play. When Luís Paraense came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Gurijuba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luís Paraense couldn't finish the play. In the 22nd minute, Hortêncio de Senna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cipriano de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Brasil in the 24th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Hortêncio de Senna made a precise shot to the right of Cauã Nóbrega. Zeotavios FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Cipriano de Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Júnior Dracena in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Kléber Motta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zeotavios FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gurijuba the free kick. The supporters of Gurijuba booed when Zeotavios FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kléber Motta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Paraense fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cauã Nóbrega having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Luís Paraense got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The wind increased when Hortêncio de Senna made the kick off in the second half. Duda Abreu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Murillo Baptista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zeotavios FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Murillo Baptista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cipriano de Castro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cauã Nóbrega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio de Senna in the 55th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Hortêncio de Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gurijuba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cauã Nóbrega, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 80thth minute of the game Luís Paraense who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zeotavios FC's Cauã Nóbrega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luís Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gurijuba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
