With a left leg Valdo Valle saved Camapuan from getting behind. Romeu Cardoso was a little too slow when José Guimarães got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 1-0. 45 minutes into the match, Realcelona's goalkeeper Romeu Cardoso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leopoldo Guimarães. Valdo Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Heriberto in the 48th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliseo Heriberto made a kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valdo Valle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eliseo Heribertos short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Valdo Valle to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Camapuan's Valdo Valle proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Camapuan from getting a goal against them. Manuel Dantas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Valle having to interfere.
