Avahy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 19th minute, Roger Vides fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Alberto Trigo, passed just outside the right post. If Vitório da Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Farmácia Cristo Rei's Zé Paraense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Senna in the 24th minute of play. Avahy's Alberto Trigo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arthur Castro in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Davi Senna in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zé Paraense saved Farmácia Cristo Rei from getting behind. In the 32nd match minute, Farmácia Cristo Rei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Baiano to maneuver through the defense. If Jano Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roger Vides's late challenge caught a Avahy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Vides helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Farmácia Cristo Rei getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Roger Vides hit a great ball. Davi Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44thth minute of the game Jano Queirós who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Farmácia Cristo Rei's Zé Paraense was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Farmácia Cristo Rei's Joaquim Borges got a free kick in the 44th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arthur Castro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute Davi Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zé Paraense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Vitório da Rocha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Roger Vides had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alberto Trigo. Avahy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Roger Vides was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Zé Paraense was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Enéas Jacinto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enéas Jacinto really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Zé Paraense made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Bebeto Cunha sent off a good shot on target. Vitório da Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Zé Paraense tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Davi Senna had several of the Farmácia Cristo Rei's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 88 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-3 score and a disappointed Zé Paraense as he didn't even see the shot coming. 92 minutes into the game, Jano Queirós recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zé Paraense. Jano Queirós showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-4. When the final whistle sounded Avahy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Farmácia Cristo Rei.
