The audience was convinced that José Maria Velloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ricardinho Neto was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. EticaFC's Ricardinho Neto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yuri Sergipano in the 13th minute of play. When Luís Diniz fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EticaFC's protests and gave Luís Diniz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, EticaFC's Luís Diniz got a free kick in the 14th minute. When Levente Boros came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the EticaFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Levente Boros couldn't finish the play. If Felippe Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardinho Neto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Maria Velloso in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Felippe Saldanha managed to get in a good position for a shot. EticaFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Felippe Saldanha was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabinho Andrade breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Felippe Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Vinícius Ferreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ricardinho Neto skillfully saved the ball. Felippe Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fabinho Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yuri Sergipano made a kick off. Yuri Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Neto having to interfere. José Maria Velloso's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ricardinho Neto firmly grabbed it by the left post. Fabinho Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felippe Saldanha in the 91st minute of the match. There was no doubt that EticaFC were the better team. EticaFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
