After 13 minutes of play, EticaFC's Felippe Saldanha made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remo Lopes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felippe Saldanha kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 45 played minutes EticaFC got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Saldanha. Edoardo Casadei took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remo Lopes. Remo Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The PALESTRA ITALIA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. EticaFC were winning 1-3.

The wind increased when Felippe Saldanha made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Edoardo Casadei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aírton Sá took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ricardinho Neto. EticaFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 60th minute Wellington Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Edoardo Casadei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EticaFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edoardo Casadei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luís Diniz struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Remo Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EticaFC. 67 minutes into the match, PALESTRA ITALIA's goalkeeper Remo Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felippe Saldanha. EticaFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
