Enéas do Vale made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Gláuber Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. Ronaldinho Paraíba hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Mandrak in the 23rd minute of play forced Passo's goalkeeper Amadeu Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Paranaense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Enéas do Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Enéas do Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Paraense in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute Carlos Alberto Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enéas do Vale made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Gláuber Paranaense sent off a good shot on target. Enéas do Vale was out of position in the 35 minute of play, and Gláuber Paranaense capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gláuber Paranaense really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gláuber Paranaense could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Enéas do Vale made a huge save. 43 minutes into the match, Gláuber Paranaense notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Lavaginha AD's Enéas do Vale. Enéas do Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mathias Tunander was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Lavaginha AD booed when Passo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Josué Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. 54 minutes into the game, Gláuber Paranaense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Enéas do Vale was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Gláuber Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Iuri Valle hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Wilson Mandrak was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Lavaginha AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After having played for 72 minutes, Manolo Ferreira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lavaginha AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manolo Ferreira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 77 minutes into the match, Gláuber Paranaense notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Lavaginha AD's Enéas do Vale. Enéas do Vale was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Paraense in the 81st minute of play forced Lavaginha AD's goalkeeper Enéas do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enéas do Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Paraense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Enéas do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias Tunander recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
