An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiaguinho Valladares in the 37th minute of play forced Guapiuru AD's goalkeeper Christian Vides to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiaguinho Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Vides having to interfere. When Dráuzio Meirelles fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galante's protests and gave Dráuzio Meirelles a yellow card for diving instead. In the 43rd minute, Dráuzio Meirelles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

Christian Vides showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dênis Rocha in the 55th minute of the match. Guapiuru AD's Christian Vides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiaguinho Valladares in the 57th minute of play. When Dênis Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Galante fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dênis Rocha couldn't finish the play. After 61 played minutes Guapiuru AD got a freekick which was hit by Guilherme Severo. Dênis Rocha was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Renan Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Dênis Rocha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Christian Vides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Vides made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiaguinho Valladares in the 72nd minute of play. Charles Batista hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Guapiuru AD's Christian Vides got control of the ball when Dênis Rocha tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Dênis Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
