In the 8th minute Alfredão Siqueira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos do Vale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Reginaldo Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Reginaldo Jacinto ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raí Breckenfeld was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 20th minute, Reginaldo Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Belchior Cardozo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raí Breckenfeld prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 27th minute Reginaldo Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reginaldo Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Breckenfeld having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Reginaldo Jacinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raí Breckenfeld. Petunia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reginaldo Jacinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If André Luís Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raí Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reginaldo Jacinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Reginaldo Jacinto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Raí Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Cardozo in the 42nd minute of play. When Leais do Paraíso's Belchior Cardozo in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Petunia's goalie prevented a goal. After 46 minutes of play, Leais do Paraíso's Clóvis da Rocha made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raí Breckenfeld was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfredão Siqueira to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Reginaldo Jacinto made a precise shot to the right of Raí Breckenfeld. Petunia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Raí Breckenfeld made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belchior Cardozo in the 57th minute of play. Raí Breckenfeld was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Belchior Cardozo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 63 minute of play. When Clóvis da Rocha fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leais do Paraíso's protests and gave Clóvis da Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Petunia booed when Leais do Paraíso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clóvis da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Pires in the 72nd minute of play forced Leais do Paraíso's goalkeeper Antônio Carlos do Vale to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 74 minutes, Raí Breckenfeld successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Petunia's zone, Belchior Cardozo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raí Breckenfeld came out of the goal and Belchior Cardozo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 84th minute of the match Víktor Fontes sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raí Breckenfeld skillfully saved the ball. The audience was convinced that Belchior Cardozo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Raí Breckenfeld was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. After having played for 88 minutes, Belchior Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Leais do Paraíso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belchior Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reginaldo Jacinto succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-8 in the 94th playminute. Leais do Paraíso's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
