Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Oséias da Fonseca recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Frederico Corrêa. Oséias da Fonseca showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. Silas Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Frederico Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Emílio Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelinho Pereira having to interfere. Valdemar Mazza's late challenge caught a Anacetaba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemar Mazza helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Piripiri's Valdemar Mazza got a free kick in the 75th minute. Piripiri's Emílio Cosme got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Piripiri booed when Anacetaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Carlos Lago didn't get a good kick on the ball. Piripiri walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
