Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Douglas Costa took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th match minute, C.R Irajá-MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Mazza to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olívio da Costa in the 8th minute of play forced C.R Irajá-MZ's goalkeeper Agostinho de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Garrotes EC's zone, Douglas Costa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cauã Campidelis came out of the goal and Douglas Costa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Sérgio de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garrotes EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sérgio de Andrade was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Agostinho de Mendonça breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. C.R Irajá-MZ's Agostinho de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcinho Paraíba in the 19th minute of play. After 28 played minutes Garrotes EC got a freekick which was hit by Olívio da Costa. 32 minutes into the match, Marcinho Paraíba notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of C.R Irajá-MZ's Agostinho de Mendonça. Agostinho de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 35 minutes in the game, Marcinho Paraíba fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Agostinho de Mendonça having to interfere. When André Simão came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Garrotes EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Simão couldn't finish the play. Olívio da Costa scored 2-0 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Agostinho de Mendonça, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, C.R Irajá-MZ's Mustafa Arif Demirdelen got a free kick in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcinho Paraíba to make the kick off. Kaká Sabóia made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.R Irajá-MZ's Randall Stevenson. The Garrotes EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Agostinho de Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcinho Paraíba in the 73rd minute of play. Agostinho de Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Simão, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 83rd minute, Flavinho Toscano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Garrotes EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Olívio da Costa took the ball and in the 90 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Agostinho de Mendonça. Agostinho de Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. 94 minutes into the match, C.R Irajá-MZ's goal looked a bit too open when André Simão came free, but Agostinho de Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
