Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jacinto Azevedo started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Roach in the 2nd minute of play forced Snacth Clube's goalkeeper Cesinha Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardinho Loyola charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardinho Loyola the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 4th minute, Bernardinho Loyola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Azevedo struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Renatinho Mesquita didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Snacth Clube. Cesinha Quadros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fábio Roach's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. After some careless play in the Snacth Clube defense, Fábio Roach kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cesinha Quadros. The Snacth Clube fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cesinha Quadros should have stopped the shot. If Jacinto Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cesinha Quadros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Arantes in the 22nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elder Branco during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Elder Branco kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Snacth Clube's Cesinha Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Roach in the 27th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Fábio Roach notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Snacth Clube's Cesinha Quadros. Cesinha Quadros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cesinha Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiago Gabriel Arantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Azevedo in the 43rd minute of play forced Bahia FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Snacth Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudu Araújo to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes, Bahia FC's Paulo Renato Miranda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesinha Quadros came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bahia FC reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Tiago Gabriel Arantes made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Jacinto Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fábio Roach was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 57th minute. Bahia FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tiago Gabriel Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Cesinha Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fábio Roach got free with Cesinha Quadros in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Dudu Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Snacth Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Dudu Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renatinho Mesquita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fábio Roach could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Cesinha Quadros made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacinto Azevedo in the 79th minute of play forced Bahia FC's goalkeeper Renatinho Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute, Jacinto Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 83rd minute, Paulo Renato Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fábio Roach who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Cesinha Quadros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Jacinto Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Mesquita having to interfere. Snacth Clube's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Tiago Gabriel Arantes 94 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. The Bahia FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bahia FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
