Spectators: 7199 (Terracing: 5401, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jailson Goiano took the kick off in the first half of the match. EC Souza´s's Zé Amaral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cléber Moreira in the 5th minute of play. In the 7th minute of the match Colorado F. C. got a corner. EC Souza´s's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Noel Branco ran over to the corner to take the kick. Jailson Goiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Natanael Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Natanael Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diogo Cardozo in the 13th minute of the match. 16 minutes into the game, Diogo Cardozo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Natanael Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. EC Souza´s's Miguel Gaúcho took a good shot, in the 20th minute, which hit the crossbar above Natanael Correia's head, and flew over the goal. Colorado F. C.'s manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by EC Souza´s. In the 21stth minute of the game Jailson Goiano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colorado F. C.'s Natanael Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 25 minutes into the match, EC Souza´s's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Moreira came free, but Zé Amaral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cléber Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cléber Moreira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Natanael Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jailson Goiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jailson Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natanael Correia was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After having played for 38 minutes, Rafinha Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colorado F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafinha Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the game, Benjamim Tavares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EC Souza´s's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Colorado F. C. the free kick. A collision led to EC Souza´s getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Benjamim Tavares hit a great ball. If Cléber Moreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jailson Goiano in the 46th minute of play forced Colorado F. C.'s goalkeeper Natanael Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Colorado F. C.'s goalkeeper Natanael Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Cléber Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Amaral was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rafinha Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Rafinha Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colorado F. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rafinha Duarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafinha Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Natanael Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Diogo Cardozo went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Cléber Moreira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in EC Souza´s's zone, Leopoldo Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zé Amaral came out of the goal and Leopoldo Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Colorado F. C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Diogo Cardozo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Colorado F. C.'s Natanael Correia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Colorado F. C. from getting a goal against them. After 93 played minutes, EC Souza´s's Miguel Gaúcho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Natanael Correia came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in EC Souza´s reached it. If Leopoldo Paraense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
