José Vítor Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Caio Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Rogério Abreu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Vítor Rosa got free with Caio Mattos in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelinho Lopez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renatinho Braga in the 19th minute of play. José Vítor Rosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caio Mattos having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Renatinho Braga in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelinho Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 34 minutes into the match, Cascatinha's goal looked a bit too open when José Vítor Rosa came free, but Caio Mattos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Renatinho Braga ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcelinho Lopez was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Cascatinha's Renatinho Braga got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Laércio Arce charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laércio Arce the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cascatinha were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after xBacon's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Juninho Ribeiro took the corner. Renatinho Braga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelinho Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Renatinho Braga to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, xBacon's Nilton Freire got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Oscar Guerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. With an all-out effort, Cascatinha's Marcelinho Lopez threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Renatinho Braga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Oscar Guerra got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to xBacon getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Nilton Freire hit a great ball. Oscar Guerra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Marcelinho Lopez made a huge save. In the 81st minute Rogério Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caio Mattos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 84th minute, xBacon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Elano Cavalcante fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 87 minutes, Luizinho Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the xBacon and the Cascatinha players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, one of xBacon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for xBacon. 1-2 came through a penalty shot after 88 played minutes, when Cascatinha:s Juninho Ribeiro calmly waited for xBacon:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Renatinho Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The xBacon fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cascatinha were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
