The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente da Rocha got free with Arnaldo Almeida in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mathias Azevedo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Almeida. Arnaldo Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 85 minutes into the match, Mathias Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Almeida. National FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mathias Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. If Ulisses Vides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente da Rocha in the 92nd minute of play forced National FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnaldo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clemente da Rocha in the 98th minute of play forced National FC's goalkeeper Arnaldo Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carlinhos Ribeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. In the 100th minute, Mathias Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnaldo Almeida was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ananindeua had played much better football throughout.
