Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gernando Gerber started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Clube 26 de agosto got a freekick which was hit by Haniel Zidane. Ernesto de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Talima SC's Juninho Marinho got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Korhan Öztay in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Francisco de Almeida saved Talima SC from getting behind. 17 minutes into the match, Gernando Gerber had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco de Almeida. Talima SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando Gerber was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Amílton Campidelis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juninho Marinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ernesto de Barros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korhan Öztay in the 25th minute of play forced Talima SC's goalkeeper Francisco de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Yuri de Lima had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco de Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gernando Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Clube 26 de agosto's Ernesto de Barros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amílton Campidelis in the 33rd minute of play. Ernesto de Barros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amílton Campidelis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco de Almeida stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Korhan Öztay's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amílton Campidelis during the 39th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Talima SC's Amílton Campidelis got a free kick in the 39th minute. Korhan Öztay's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francisco de Almeida read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After the first half Clube 26 de agosto were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Amílton Campidelis made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Clube 26 de agosto getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Rodriguinho de Brito hit a great ball. Amílton Campidelis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Arthur dos Santos fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talima SC's protests and gave Arthur dos Santos a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Talima SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arthur dos Santos to maneuver through the defense. When Clube 26 de agosto's Gernando Gerber in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Talima SC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Clube 26 de agosto booed when Talima SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri de Lima didn't get a good kick on the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Talima SC's goalkeeper Francisco de Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korhan Öztay. 70 minutes into the match, Talima SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Gerber came free, but Francisco de Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Clube 26 de agosto getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Baltazar Marquez hit a great ball. If Amílton Campidelis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Clube 26 de agosto's Gernando Gerber got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto de Barros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Marinho in the 78th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Korhan Öztay in the 81st minute of play forced Talima SC's goalkeeper Francisco de Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Korhan Öztay could shoot a difficult shot in the 91st minute, which Francisco de Almeida however easily saved by the left post. In the 93rdth minute of the game Gernando Gerber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Talima SC's Francisco de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Korhan Öztay got free with Francisco de Almeida in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Talima SC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Clube 26 de agosto were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
