Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marek Bubczyk in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eusébio Saldanha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hílton Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the game, Válbson Siqueira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rondinha's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave J.I.M.R. the free kick. In the 27th match minute, Rondinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. If André Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. André Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Saldanha having to interfere. Eusébio Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marek Bubczyk in the 35th minute of play. If Adrianinho Bertassi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marek Bubczyk in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eusébio Saldanha saved Rondinha from getting behind. When J.I.M.R.'s Marek Bubczyk in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rondinha's goalie prevented a goal. Eusébio Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When André Baiano came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the J.I.M.R. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Baiano couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marek Bubczyk in the 47th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Adalmo Baiano struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Eusébio Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for J.I.M.R.. Marek Bubczyk succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 58th playminute. Marek Bubczyk who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Eusébio Saldanha when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Noel Alvarenga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusébio Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rondinha's zone, Marek Bubczyk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eusébio Saldanha came out of the goal and Marek Bubczyk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrianinho Bertassi in the 68th minute of play forced Rondinha's goalkeeper Eusébio Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marek Bubczyk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rondinha's Eusébio Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marek Bubczyk in the 72nd minute of play. With his leg Eusébio Saldanha managed to avoid a goal in the 73rdth minute, when J.I.M.R.'s Marek Bubczyk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. André Baiano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusébio Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Eusébio Saldanha stood somewhat misplaced when Marek Bubczyk came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 76 minute. After 79 played minutes Rondinha got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Cavalcante. Marek Bubczyk's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 82ndth minute, Eusébio Saldanha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nuno Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marek Bubczyk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusébio Saldanha having to interfere. Marek Bubczyk in the 91stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eusébio Saldanha, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. André Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. J.I.M.R.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
