Moisés Brodel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Douglas Peres made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Hílton Tande was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cocal FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heisenberg Football Club the free kick. Marcelinho Terra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bebeto Meirelles in the 17th minute of the match. Rony Salgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Douglas Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Douglas Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Salgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Rony Salgado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Douglas Peres having to interfere. Moisés Brodel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Douglas Peres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 32 played minutes Rony Salgado rounded Heisenberg Football Club's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Valdemar Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Bebeto Meirelles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelinho Terra skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Cocal FC's Rony Salgado got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Manoel Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Cocal FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Emanuel Teles in the 53rd minute. In the 55th minute, Wanderson de Sousa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelinho Terra. The goal made the score 1-1. Marcelinho Terra didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 60th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. 69 minutes into the match, Cocal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wanderson de Sousa came free, but Marcelinho Terra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Douglas Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rony Salgado in the 75th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Douglas Peres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Heisenberg Football Club's Marcelinho Terra threw himself towards the right post 82 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wanderson de Sousa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Cocal FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Valdemar Carioca hit a great ball. José Pedro Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marcelinho Terra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Wanderson de Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Heisenberg Football Club supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Heisenberg Football Club would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
