The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ronaldão Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ronaldão Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Arósio in the 6th minute of the match. Ronaldão Mangueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Coutinho in the 7th minute. Wanderson Machado hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the game, Rodolfo de Queirós cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Luís Eduardo Godoi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Teodoro Goiano kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Hamílton de Castro struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Luís Eduardo Godoi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brahmeiro FC. After a rather tough play, Brahmeiro FC's Rogério Matos got a free kick in the 21st minute. Hamílton de Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ronaldão Mangueira made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Zézinho Proença sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute, Igor Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Hamílton de Castro notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Araporanga SS's Luís Eduardo Godoi. Luís Eduardo Godoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Evaristo Arósio in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronaldão Mangueira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 38 minutes, Rogério Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brahmeiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Matos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 41 minutes, Rodolfo de Queirós made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Araporanga SS's Luís Eduardo Godoi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Araporanga SS's zone, Rodolfo de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Eduardo Godoi came out of the goal and Rodolfo de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogério Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Rodolfo de Queirós made the kick off in the second half. Araporanga SS's Luís Eduardo Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Araporanga SS from getting a goal against them. Rodolfo de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Araporanga SS getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Benjamin Coutinho hit a great ball. When Hamílton de Castro came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Brahmeiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamílton de Castro couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hamílton de Castro got free with Luís Eduardo Godoi in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ronaldão Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Coutinho in the 62nd minute of the match. After some careless play in the Araporanga SS defense, Hamílton de Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Eduardo Godoi. The Araporanga SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Eduardo Godoi should have stopped the shot. Ronaldão Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Arósio, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. If Hamílton de Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamílton de Castro was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Brahmeiro FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Araporanga SS's Evaristo Arósio in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Brahmeiro FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brahmeiro FC's goalkeeper Ronaldão Mangueira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rogério Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Luís Eduardo Godoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Eduardo Godoi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rodolfo de Queirós showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-6 in the 91 minute of play.
