Guarulhos getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Ciro Carioca hit a great ball. The supporters of A.D. Guarulhos booed when Selefogo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dedê Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elder Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luís Gustavo Breckenfeld read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Dedê Valadares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luís Gustavo Breckenfeld having to make a save. If Dedê Valadares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tibúrcio Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olívio Fernandes, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Dedê Valadares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute, Olívio Fernandes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Tibúrcio Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Peres in the 51st minute of the match. Matheus Martins hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Dedê Valadares took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Gustavo Breckenfeld. Luís Gustavo Breckenfeld made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Dedê Valadares sent off a good shot on target. Tibúrcio Gaspar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nestor Peres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute, Allan Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Nestor Peres's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tibúrcio Gaspar was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Guarulhos's Elder Pinheiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Gustavo Breckenfeld. Luís Gustavo Breckenfeld yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Luís Gustavo Breckenfeld made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dedê Valadares in the 96th minute.
