The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 52nd minute, Genílson Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jardel Berger recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wágner Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Berger, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Joélson Dracena made an important save on a dangerous shot by Perivaldo Veloso in the 57th minute. Genílson Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Dracena having to interfere. If Percy Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Só Canela F.C's Percy Peixoto got a free kick in the 64th minute. In the 69thth minute of the game Jardel Berger who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Razeirense FC's Wágner Carneiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Ulisses Albuquerque notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Só Canela F.C's Joélson Dracena. Joélson Dracena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Perivaldo Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Dracena having to interfere. Perivaldo Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joélson Dracena. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Perivaldo Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 80 minutes, Ulisses Albuquerque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Razeirense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulisses Albuquerque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Genílson Cordeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 played minutes Razeirense FC got a freekick which was hit by Genílson Cordeiro. 94 minutes into the match, Razeirense FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jardel Berger came free, but Wágner Carneiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
