After 43 minutes of play, Tottenhan Hotspur F.C's Anísio Vergílio made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomé Valladares was left in no man's land by his defense there! The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Despite being the better team, Tottenhan Hotspur F.C failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
