Clemente Loureiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Neto in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Enéas Varela recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Clemente Loureiro. Enéas Varela showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Enéas Varelas short, quick shot in the 12thth minute got Clemente Loureiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Clemente Loureiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Neto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Laerte Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enéas Varelas short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Clemente Loureiro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Laerte Neto came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Pacuja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laerte Neto couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Pacuja's Enéas Varela ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Clemente Loureiro. Clemente Loureiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Erik dos Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Loureiro having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Enéas Varela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clemente Loureiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Enéas Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes, Pacuja's Douglas do Nascimento shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clemente Loureiro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pacuja reached it. When Enéas Varela came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Pacuja fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enéas Varela couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Laerte Neto made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Enéas Varela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Clemente Loureiro. ATL Betaort's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enéas Varela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in ATL Betaort's zone, Laerte Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clemente Loureiro came out of the goal and Laerte Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 62nd minute Laerte Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ATL Betaort getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Armandinho dos Santos hit a great ball. Cesinha Mota took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Clemente Loureiro. ATL Betaort's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Clemente Loureiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laerte Neto's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Armandinho dos Santos's late challenge caught a Pacuja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armandinho dos Santos helped the player get up and apologised. 73 minutes into the game, one of ATL Betaort:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Válter Figueiredo's late challenge caught a Pacuja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Válter Figueiredo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ATL Betaort getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Válter Figueiredo hit a great ball. Laerte Neto might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Loureiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laerte Neto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 97th minute Laerte Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clemente Loureiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pacuja's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
