Donatello de Andrade didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvério Garcia went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cerâmica Atletico Clube's Mané Corrêa got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 16 minutes, Caetano de Brito made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Xapetuba SC's Kléberson Furtado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. João Augusto Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Xapetuba SC's goalkeeper Kléberson Furtado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano de Brito. 26 minutes into the game, João Augusto Zonta was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maurício de Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maurício de Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kléberson Furtado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mané Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Cerâmica Atletico Clube's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Zonta came free, but Donatello de Andrade reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Donatello de Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurício de Medeiros in the 91st minute of play. If Caetano de Brito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes of play, Cerâmica Atletico Clube's Mané Corrêa made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kléberson Furtado was left in no man's land by his defense there!
