Sette clube's Leandro Queirós proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Sette clube from getting a goal against them. In the 34th minute Hílton Bezerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Meireles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hílton Bezerra made a kick off. Fausto Castro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Claudinho Meireles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Hílton Bezerra, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 56 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Claudinho Meireles was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Hílton Bezerra might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudinho Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hílton Bezerra ran back to his position shaking his head. Sette clube's Hílton Bezerra got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinho Meireles made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Claudinei Mendes sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the match, Hílton Bezerra notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Affua's Claudinho Meireles. Claudinho Meireles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 86 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Mazza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Leandro Queirós was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Affua's Leonel Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leandro Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Válbson Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Queirós made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Valle in the 93rd minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
