In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Martim FC's goalkeeper Magno Cabral, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gláuber Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magno Cabral having to interfere. Gláuber Schmidt was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Maldito Clube's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Ediberto de Carvalho scored 0-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magno Cabral, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maldito Clube's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
