Spectators: 7107 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 0) Divyne fc's Gil Passos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cássio Neves in the 7th minute of play. Vito Veloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrianinho Veiga having to make a save. When Vito Veloso came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Divyne fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vito Veloso couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Divyne fc's Nildo Montenegro got a free kick in the 18th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Divyne fc's goalkeeper Gil Passos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luís Fabiano Goiano. In the 28th minute, Benjamim Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vito Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Jequery SS's zone, Vito Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianinho Veiga came out of the goal and Vito Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 36 minutes into the match, Vito Veloso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Adrianinho Veiga. Jequery SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vito Veloso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Chiquinho dos Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Divyne fc's attentive Wanderson Alagoano managed to snatch the ball when Fernandão Salles made a throw-in in the 41st minute of the game. Wanderson Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Adrianinho Veiga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benjamim Botelho scored 0-2 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrianinho Veiga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Gil Passos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Divyne fc's Benjamim Botelho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrianinho Veiga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wanderson Alagoano during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, Divyne fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wanderson Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Jequery SS's zone, César Passos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrianinho Veiga came out of the goal and César Passos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chiquinho dos Santos hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Simão Mello was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If César Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vito Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Jequery SS's goal looked a bit too open when Vito Veloso came free, but Adrianinho Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Benjamim Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Divyne fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Benjamim Botelho couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Jequery SS's Doni Coutinho got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jequery SS's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Nildo Montenegro was slow to take the kick. During this time Divyne fc's players had a chance to rest. Divyne fc played a much better game than Jequery SS and deserved their victory. The Jequery SS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
