Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kléberson Tepedino started the match with the kick off. Edvaldo Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Dé Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Massa in the 14th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Carvalhos's Ricardinho Guedes got a free kick in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes, FC Barcelona's Osmar Soares shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Tostão de Queiroz came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Barcelona reached it. Kléberson Tepedino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tostão de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Barcelona's goalkeeper Dé Eger, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 23 minutes, Oséas Siqueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Barcelona and the Carvalhos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Oséas Siqueira hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After 25 minutes of play, Carvalhos's Wilian Duarte made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dé Eger was left in no man's land by his defense there! Carvalhos's Wilian Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodoro Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Dé Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carvalhos were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after FC Barcelona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ricardinho Guedes took the corner. After 35 minutes, Erivaldo Gomes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carvalhos and the FC Barcelona players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 35 played minutes Carvalhos got a freekick which was hit by Erivaldo Gomes. Joaquim Salgado was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 40 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute, one of FC Barcelona:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Barcelona. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for Carvalhos. Ricardinho Guedes stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dé Eger. 2-0. Wilian Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Dé Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Massa to make the kick off. Oséas Siqueira hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Wilian Duarte sped through FC Barcelona's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dé Eger. Dé Eger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto Correia's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. With a little luck, Carvalhos's Tostão de Queiroz got control of the ball when Célio Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wilian Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Dé Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Porto's late challenge caught a Carvalhos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Porto helped the player get up and apologised. FC Barcelona's Dé Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Massa in the 71st minute of play. Wilian Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Dé Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Teodoro Massa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilian Duarte in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dé Eger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 91 minutes into the game, Wilian Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dé Eger was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 96 minutes into the match, Wilian Duarte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dé Eger. FC Barcelona's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilian Duarte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Carvalhos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Barcelona for a fine match.
