Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Teodoro Massa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Leonel Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 2nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th minute, Aloísio Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carvalhos's Tostão de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero Carvalho in the 13th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Cícero Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fellows Braza's supporters rose to their feet, but Cícero Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tostão de Queiroz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Fellows Braza defense, Wilian Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wágner Pirani. The Fellows Braza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wágner Pirani should have stopped the shot. In the 22nd minute, Leonel Marinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 24 minutes of play, Carvalhos's Wilian Duarte made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wágner Pirani was left in no man's land by his defense there! Wágner Pirani made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilian Duarte in the 30th minute. When Cícero Carvalho came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Fellows Braza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cícero Carvalho couldn't finish the play. Wilian Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute, Cícero Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th match minute, Carvalhos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Umberto Correia to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cícero Carvalho to make the kick off. If Wilian Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Wilian Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wágner Pirani was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Carvalhos's Tostão de Queiroz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Marinho in the 60th minute of play. During the 67th minute of the match Umberto Correia completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Umberto Correia a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 68th minute Dino Sarmento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão de Queiroz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cauan Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Wilian Duarte struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Wágner Pirani didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carvalhos. Leonel Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Souza in the 90th minute of play forced Carvalhos's goalkeeper Tostão de Queiroz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, one of Fellows Braza:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fellows Braza. Ricardinho Guedes placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Carvalhos's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
