In the 13th match minute, Calderoes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cássio Vides to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Júnior Hermes during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Calderoes booed when Divina Comédia - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Hermes didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Divina Comédia - FDFDF's zone, Moisés Abreu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Sein was a little too slow when Carlos Bastos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 35 minutes, Moisés Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calderoes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moisés Abreu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oséas de Barros hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia - FDFDF's goalkeeper Delmar Sein had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlos Bastos. Delmar Sein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Moisés Abreu in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Monteiro was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute, Fernandão Paraíba made a precise shot to the right of Delmar Sein. Divina Comédia - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Delmar Sein didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernandão Paraíba went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 63rd minute Moisés Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Delmar Sein saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raúl Quintal's late challenge caught a Calderoes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Calderoes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divina Comédia - FDFDF the free kick. A collision led to Calderoes getting a freekick after 97 minutes play.
