A very good chance. 7 minutes into the match, Itaguara's Claudinho Correia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Túlio Neto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Nogueira in the 21st minute of play forced Itaguara's goalkeeper Hernani Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes Itaguara got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Vides. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Otávio Ribeiro during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Itaguara's Claudinho Vides got a free kick in the 38th minute. Antônio Carlos Carioca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hernani Branco having to make a save. The supporters of Itaguara booed when Dínamo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 48th minute, Aloísio Arruda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Antônio Carlos Carioca made the kick off in the second half. Claudinho Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Túlio Neto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tales Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Neto having to interfere. Claudinho Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, Dínamo F.C.'s Luiz Gustavo Fernandez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernani Branco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Dínamo F.C.'s Túlio Neto got control of the ball when Tales Cosme tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hernani Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antônio Carlos Carioca in the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Claudinho Correia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Túlio Neto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 80 played minutes Dínamo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan de Godoi. Tales Cosme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Túlio Neto made a huge save. Jonathan de Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th of the match, Claudinho Correia tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Túlio Neto got in the way and made a wonderful save. Tales Cosme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Túlio Neto having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Dínamo F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Claudinho Correia came free, but Túlio Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luiz Gustavo Fernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dínamo F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Itaguara had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
